PSG fell in Bratislava

europa league live betsFrench giants PSG failed to win Slovan away in Bratislava and both teams turned round a draw 0-0.

They faced each other in a match of Group "F" of the League, played at the stadium "Pasienski" in the Slovak capital Bratislava.

PSG dominated the opening period but could find no way past Lukas Hrosso in the home side’s goal and their hopes of victory were all but dashed when Clement Chantome and Siaka Tiene were both sent off for second bookable offenses.

Bratislava actually started the brighter of the two, forcing a couple of early corners, but they only threatened sporadically thereafter as the expensively-assembled visiting side quickly took command of the contest, with summer signings Jeremy Menez and Javier Pastore very much to the fore.

Menez continued to threaten for PSG, drawing a decent save out of Hrosso with a well-struck show from outside the box, but the complexion of the game changed on 63 minutes when midfielder Chantome, having already been booked for a tackle from behind, collected his second yellow after catching Erik Grendel late.

Remarkably, PSG held on quite comfortably with nine men and could even have nicked all three points late on but Hrosso pushed Nene’s low strike around the post. The result means that the French outfit remains second in Group F, three points behind leaders Athletic Bilbao, who was held at home by Salzburg.
